During the last week one of my supervisors kept referring to biologists as "Bunny-huggers" and physicist as "Socks and Sandals". This made me curious as to what those in those fields might nickname one another and also Chemists.
Do you know any field dependent slurs? Do mathematicians and engineers have terms like these?

I don't hear nicknames much but every physics professor seems to delight in the idea of pissing mathematicians off whenever possible. Any time they do something a mathematician wouldn't find rigorous enough, like using d/dt algebraically instead of as an operator, they get those old man snickers.
