Will race matter anymore once we can design children?
Will race matter anymore once we can design children?
Yes because there will be unequal access to the technology which will either stem from or cause racism.
What if I designed my to be black with blue eyes?
*children
I was listening to an evolutionary biologist talk about this. He suspects that, if we were to allow computers to have a hand in the evolution of humans, that we may lose our sovereignty with regards to our own evolution. This is because the computer may decide that the "optimal" genome is one that would not be resistant to the authority of the machine, perpetuating the need and existence of said machine. His basis for this claim was the history of RNA and DNA. Apparently, RNA was the genetic code of ancient creatures, but DNA became evolutionarily advantages to produce for some reason (like CRISPR) would be, until DNA ultimately took over and made RNA its perpetual slave.
No, because everyone will become white.
That'd be pretty aesthetic imo.
Sounds like a lot of assumptions. In general people tend to be too scared of AI.
DNA is more stable than RNA
everyone wants to be white tho.
There are mega rich people of all races. Eventually the elite will be all white sans skin color
>inb4 race is only skin deep / hurr >white >sans skin color
due to current politization of anthropology we have really misleading tags for human races, such as "white" and "black". By white I really mean general europid / nordic bone features.
