>Has overtaken the west in scientific output. >Government is a technocracy and top CCP members are all scientists and Engineers. >CCP has announced plans to basically fully automate most work and society by 2049 >Manned moon missions planned in the next few years >Manned mars missions planned >Building "Ecocities" that have little to no carbon output >Is building a nationwide HSR network. >Views Capitalism cynically and only uses Capitalism to help fuel Scientific research and development for the betterment of humanity. >Has a secret spy space station >Has secret space planes. >Is the global leader in fighting Climate Change (though for obvious reasons)
Face it, China is like that "Scientifically advanced" race in RTS games.
>Has overtaken the west in scientific output. HAHAHAHAHA, no. >Building "Ecocities" that have little to no carbon output Because nobody lives in those ghost cities. >Is building a nationwide HSR network. Flimsy as fuck and when there are crashes, they bury the train with survivors still inside.

Because China won't accomplish any of those things, you wumao shill or naive westerner. >/r/china2020
I don't doubt the work of engineers will make a great work. But the current society of China just don't give a shit about any carbon output, "Ecocities" or any development of humanity.
All that projects and citys people will buy the land but with the idea that it will go up in price. Expect an economic bubble in the next 10-20 years coming from China.
Joseph Russell
I'll just leave this here... >"[Earthquake] Survivors blame corruption, shoddy construction and cost cutting for the collapse of so many 'tofu buildings'"
You can find propaganda articles like this about anywhere including America.

>Has overtaken the west in scientific output. no >Government is a technocracy and top CCP members are all scientists and Engineers. kinda >CCP has announced plans to basically fully automate most work and society by 2049 only difference is they announced it >Manned moon missions planned in the next few years >Manned mars missions planned key word being "planned" >Building "Ecocities" that have little to no carbon output ill believe it when i see it >Is building a nationwide HSR network. cool >Views Capitalism cynically and only uses Capitalism to help fuel Scientific research and development for the betterment of humanity. for the betterment of humanity? lol >Has a secret spy space station no >Has secret space planes. who doesnt? >Is the global leader in fighting Climate Change (though for obvious reasons) are you fucking retarded?

Does China have millions who still live in caves? We at least give our homeless doorways and cardboard boxes to live in.

China literally has ghost town because their efficiency is too high. That means there's huge excess after housing 1.5 billion people.

Instead, workers cleared wreckage so rail traffic could resume, including digging a pit to bury a carriage of one of the trains involved in the accident. It was dug up two days later after a public outcry alleging a cover-up. >Time-stamped photographs show that workers left a corpse unattended on the ground for 90 minutes, focusing on repairs, while frantic relatives waited for news at hospital morgues. A 2-year-old, trapped in a crushed carriage, was rescued 21 hours after the accident only because some local officials ignored the ministry’s orders and continued to search the wreckage.

No, they have a horrific construction and property bubble. For every person in China, there are 3 empty apartments and offices for them.
Christopher Miller
Please do show me some articles that say planes couldn't land in an American city because of pollution or "tofu buildings" collapsed during an earthquake. I admit we have problems here, but there are plenty of areas in China where the degraded environment make it an unlivable shithole.
Tyler Lopez
Those are for highly skilled immigrants and future births (the CCP have now removed the one child policy).
Reminder to deniers that China publishes more scientific research than the U.S. now. And there's little hope of getting the lead back with Trump in office who is more interested in funding Military Parades and reducing legal immigrants (which counts as a significant percentage of academia/ STEM in the U.S.) than keeping the lead in science.
most of your "research" is either flat-out bullshit or useless and derivative xiaofeng

>In 2016 China published 426,000 articles >US published 409,000 The per capita published based off population tells a different story; over half a billion more people than the US and such a small lead. Also, I'll just leave this article about academic fraud in China here...
China is awful man, they have no good universities. The only reason they manufacture more stuff than everybody else is because they straight up don't pay labor costs.
Chinese people are forced to work, socialism at it's core is forced labor. On a level playing field where China played under u.s. rules, the United States would smoke the Chinese because of American exceptionalism.
People who come the the u.s. to work their asses off are undoubtedly the best of the best. That's why all the greatest inventions of the past hundred years have been made here.
It's why the biggest businesses ever made have been made in America. The strongest love for our creator ever devised has been made in America.
And finally the best way to raise a family has been made in America. When faith and family are at the core of your life you can join in on American exceptionalism. But sadly the Chinese miss out on both those opportunities.
I'd love to see more countries move towards a model of freedom, but I guess whatever goes is what is best for them.
I'ma keep on living the American dream which is the most efficient and productive way to advance the human condition in science and spirit.

If China has any technological edge over the U.S., it's only because we've tolerated them stealing our intellectual property for so long; similarly, if they have any economic edge, it's only because we've let them play their currency manipulation games and subsidize their industries for so long.
I'm so glad Trump is actually doing something about this; it's funny watching all the libs freaking out over him doing the same thing the EU does (they figured this shit out years ago).

I live in Europe and my dream is to go to China and work for Chinese. Their cities are turning into SF Utopias while ours and Americas are turning into third world.

1. Because most people here have a massive pro-Western bias, even if China were objectively better than the West in every way they would still hate it
2. Because China isn't better than the West, it has a massively corrupt government and crippling internal flaws which it'll have to sort out in the next decades or else reach collapse. In the cities its nice (on days with clear skies) but in the countryside it approaches Africa-tier in some regions.
