imitation crab?

yes

cool

Anyone know how I can store 2 tons of this stuff? I've got a shipment coming in next week and nowhere to put it.

no, this is an imitation crab

how did one silly thread on diy become so iconic?

>get one of those weekly grocery store catalog things in the mail
>it's for the mexican supermarket down the street
>check the meat and seafood section
>"FRESH IMITATION CRAB"
what did they mean by this?

There's a dude on Craigslist who might be able to hook you up with a bunch
He just bought too much

...

Wanna come over and see my toy trains?

I unironically like this stuff because I'm allergic to actual shellfish

Drinking Hamm's is unironically authentico, only non-hipsters who are looking for a true value in canned beer and not "I'm not a upper middle class white suburban boy, but really identify as a country bumpkin man of the land!" kind of beer. The kind you like. You know that kind. We like that kind. Flannel shirt and all.

how are you meant to cook this?

So what is it actually made of? Does it have any % of real crab meat at all?

you dont. its already cooked.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surimi

It's mostly flour, then fish, some crab or lobster, flavorings and preservatives. Obviously there is water in there.

Not. My mon loves that stuff and she just eats it plain as a snack.
Sometimes when we make sushi, she adds some into a few rolls.

I unironically love it. I like to mix it with rice along with a cubed avocado, a splash of rice vinegar, and some sesame oil. Tastes like an exploded california roll.

i eat it with lemon on some tostadas with pico de gallo

it contains shellfish

Depends on the brand

Do they still make Hamm's?

Yes, i buy hem all the time in Wynoose , IL
