For me, it's the Jumanji can

What's your favorite odd soda can design?

Why were gen xers so edgy, anyways?

in 1990 pepsi came out with a few designs for the summer. I liked the middle one the best. the one that looked like neon almost

I'll always have a soft spot for these. It was a more innocent time, when people were actually excited for something George Lucas was about to release.

These are a lot cooler than the stupid name or emoji shit. Do they even make pepsi one anymore?

GOAT coming through.

I remember that can

I like the one that you mentioned in 1990 as well as 1991 and 1997.

Samefag here
Nah actually make that 1991 and 1998

this is my second favorite. they did some christmas cans a year or two after the1990s cans came out

67 is best

your probably right, it's a nice design. in 1990 I was 12 and remember liking the cans a lot

1991 for MAXIMUM -=A-E=S-T=H-E=T-I=C-S=-
1990 NEON is my favorite though too.
For others: Either current or 1994 coke.
1972 Crush
'77 or '94 7UP (20+ years later Cool Spot is still cool)

For me, its Barts. The best root beer.

The Coke can designs they rolled out for Christmas last year were a definite favorite of mine. I'm all for some comfy shit every once in a while.

I like the current design better, because it actually makes it clear that it's coca cola
noone outside the anglosphere calls coca cola "coke"

Think OK
Drink OK

This is retarded, his name isn't Barq

bepsi

old mr pibb was pretty good, but i agree, old cherry coke can was GOAT

>those pepsi cans from 1997 - 2003
>those coke cans from 1997 - 2002
Something that should be insignificant like the design of a soda can gives me a rush of delight. I don't even drink soda anymore.
Fuck nostalgia sometimes.

The commercials were innovative for early 90s

Do americans really put shota on their soda cans?

they need to bring back that 1978 or 1991 can
anything would be better than their current design

Is that fucking Naked City in the first one? I'm sold.

...

it's not

...

current is shit, any other is better.

all the currents are bad. we need to go back

It matched the liner in my swimming pool.

would never happen in 2017 btw
white culture is too oppressive, they would be ostracized.

Best soda

Also good

RIP

That was the best year ever. I once won a Jar Jar keychain from a bag of Lays. The only thing I ever won in my life...

...

there's a few cans here I'm digging the squirt from 70 and 72
the dr pepper form 67
all the early crush cans

Best are 1978, the neon one you mentioned and 1991.

...

Shidd, that sounds good especially the Orange Cream one.

Same, I have a few empty polar bear cans that I washed and saved.

They also had a polar bear can for Christmas 2015 and it was a different design than last year but I didn't save any.

The 1987 "Americas Choice" is one I distinctly remember, but my favorites were the neon 1990 version, and the 1991 banner version.

I loved this stuff when I was young.

this is a nice can design and my favorite soda too

dat 1990 can tho

I'd be edgy too if my mom and dad were boomers

theyre pretty fucking gross unfortunately

>No 2017 Pepsi perfect cans

right?
pepsi had the perfect (heh) opportunity to cash in on nostalgia in 2015 by changing the branding

...

You're wrong, it is Naked City, it's the version of Batman from their live album at Knitting Factory in 1989.

You're correct, see above.

Bunch of slack-jawed faggots in this thread.

jolt aint got shit on Josta

This one was pretty unique. Wish it would've stuck around a little longer.

Surge had some pretty interestingly cool concepts going on before its release.

>not posting jolt red eye
>not posting jolt electric blue

you've crossed a goof too far

The '59 '70 and '72 Squirt cans look like cleaning products.

I remember these. Apparently I lived in one of the few markets it was released in. Until i learned this I was always shocked others hadnt drank it as a kid

That and these things. I went through too many bags of chips to get these things.

apparently according to facebook its comming back and will include online sales!

I liked those comfy polar bear commercials too.

shame they dont make these any more did like them...

WE WUZ SODAZ N SHEEIT

...

>not mixing shaq vanilla cream with E+J brandy
p gud senpai
