Probability

The absence of an event is an event, itself. By nothing, I mean that no observation can be made. If there is an observation, something happened, or not happened, therefore nothing did not happen.

yeah but roll a 20 sided die and ask
>will I get a 7?

I like the 50/50 thing but it's really only a first order approximation

You will either get a 7, or you will not

>it's always 50/50

What is the chance for something not to be 50/50?

if it's 50/50 then your theory is broken because it has a chance of not being 50/50

if its anything other this breaks the theory as well

you're fucking stupid, quantum mechanics doesn't say that at all

this shit has to be bait

>probability
>it's all 50/50 lol

There's a 50/50 chance you're 16 years old

there's a 100% chance you should kill yourself right now

Yep. I don't get why people have to make things so complicated.

I think it has to do with the insurance industry being HUGE. They make over $1 trillion annual revenue in the US alone. How do they justify it? Probability. How do you get obscene profits? By pretending that probability is something other than 50/50. Of course they pour money into government/universities to keep the whole fiction going. Stats classes are just State Farm propaganda.

the bullshitter was easy to spot today

And why should we try to convince you?
You've already made up your find, and logical arguments aren't going to change that.

Go to a racetrack.
Put money on a horse. You can easily get a 10-to-1 payout if he wins and since it's 50/50 you'll be rich in no time!
Come back and sneer at us skeptics who wouldn't believe you.
Make fun of everybody (except the mathematician who makes $300,000 for hardly working.)
