Why exactly did Orwell write Animal Farm?

Why exactly did Orwell write Animal Farm?

>diimdl fdjam

To explain what went wrong

for the money

The capitalists bought him. Stalin did nothing wrong, only a hack or a spy like Orwell would deny it.

Read the book and find out you illiterate fuck.

He wanted to protect the innocent anarcho-syndies from the evil bureaucratic collectivists

For the bitches

This shit where they make the letters on a book cover look all Cyrillic is just fucking stupid

he was probably mad about Kronstadt

Because some animals are more equal than others.

Haven't you read Orwell's introduction? He both criticized contemporary lefitsts for not being critical of Stalin's Soviet Union, and he also obviously criticized capitalist societies (the farmer and his friends who try to intervene in the revolution). Orwell was a moderate socialist who wanted to point out the hypocrisies of the revolution as applied by dictators such as Stalin, while still proving that the initial revolution was justified (marxism).

DIIMDL

FDJAM

it's supposed to imitate soviet propaganda posters? whats so stupid about it?

Because the title now says

This. It's been propagandized in American high schools as a "Socialism is bad mmkay" tract, but the obvious analogy is to Snowball as representing the Trotskyist faction unfairly maligned and driven out by Napoleon/Stalin's little cult of personality

-> and also what the fuck moot pic related

kek

he is furry

>chsndi

This is the only correct answer, unless author's intent means nothing to you

Because writing animal fiction is comfy as fuck

the work of one who consorts with beasts!

Why the fuck are you slamming your face on your keyboard?

Fame

He actually believed animals could talk and had racist personalities. He had a pcp problem or something.

>Diimdl Fdyam
What did they mean by this?

>What did they mean by this?

"I'm American"

>Haha russians have funny letters

Sometimes you just wanna write a story about an ale-drinking hedgehog who wears an argyle sweater.

>People in Veeky Forums can actually read cyrillic
Keep it up patricians

>ale-drinking hedgehog who wears an argyle sweater
Alright, I'm up for this

Is that something that actually exists? I would prefer it to be something other than Sonic fanfiction

To criticise Stalinism, or any sort of Authoritarian socialism (note that he fought for the anarchist side in the Spanish Civil War)

>Stalin
>not a capitalist

> Just watched this recently
> Realized that Capitalism is exactly the same thing
> Worker class does hard work for long hours for table scraps
> Some piece of shit at the top collects all the reward for doing absolutely nothing except "IT'S MUH BUSINESS"

I will enjoy watching the coming collapse. It's going to be glorious.

To btfo Communism before Communism could Btfo communism

>Settle for an office job were you suck someone's dick all day.
>You giving up on your dreams is the same as forced government sharing party
>Thinking that it's only fair when you don't have to do hard work.

Orwell was part of the Fabian Society, named after General Fabian of Rome who won by not attacking directly. It was mostly Communistic Jews. Orwell left after being dissolutioned and wrote 1984 based on what he learned there.

Concerning Animal Farm:
The animals represent different people's and Jews are the pigs. You see how he did an insult there since they see pigs as unholy filthy animals.

>Capitalism
>Communism
Two sides same shekel
That's what I advocate National Socialism

Oh no my animal shorts are far too heavily influenced by Kipling and Adams to be fanfictioney

...

>Realized that Capitalism is exactly the same thing
DUDE HOW THE FUCK ARE OPPOSITE ECONOMIC SYSTEMS EVEN OPPOSITES? THEY'RE BOTH ECONOMIC SYSTEMS LMAO

Trotskyist Propaganda.

came here to post this

...

Because capitalists needed propaganda against the revolution that could kick them out of power.

Because Stalin fucked Spain over in the Spanish Civil War. Orwell fought on the Republican side in a POUM militia, and not the International Brigades because he had disagreements with the Soviet style Communism. He saw firsthand the dissolution of the anarchists and trotskyists by the Soviets in the May Day fightings. He wrote Animal Farm and 1984 to convince his fellow socialists that the Soviets, which at the time seemed like the shining bastion of Socialism, were dangerous and courter-revolutionary.
