Er, no. Catholics mostly use the RSV for study, there's also the NJB and NABRE, translated by Catholic scholars.

I attend two a week. One is run by my local priest and is basically a mirror of the theology subjects he has taught at universities in the past. The other is a pretty relaxed study group lead by a friend who is a current theology student.
