Any good literature on the American Indian war, either fiction or non-fiction?

>inb4 Blood Meridian

>He doesn't know about The Last of the Mohicans
I know it's summer, but come on man. There's a lot of good literature from/about that era.

Then post more, faggot

Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee

>Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee
Would you seriously recommend it or is it just the only book you have read on native americans?

Its a great book.

1491
The Killing of Crazy Horse
pic related also good.

If suggest David Icke if you want the actual truth. You'll learn how American Indians were actually pure Gnostics who tried to rebel against the reptillians

It's a good introductory book. 20-30 page chapters on US Wars with various tribes. I found the chapters on the Nez Perce particularly moving.

Kit Carson and the Navajo Peach Trees was depressing as fuck

Howard Zinn "Peoples History of the United States"

OP specified "good" and "literature"

well memed, bra!

hes right, you responded with a super biased pop non-fiction general history

...

which "American Indian War" are you talking about...?

Black Elk Speaks is great. I'm a big fan of people whose family histories include encounters with Indians. Someone way down my line got scalped in Oklahoma, one of my friends' ancestors hunted down the Indians who killed his brother like 8 years beforehand. That one's a better story. I suggest you ask around your friends and family for any cool stories.

Pic sort of related, I am reading this right now. Do not read this.

Blood Meridian

no memeing, is this book actually good?

Little Big Man

No, it sucks.

Not really, but the Daniel day Lewis movie is fantastic
