Thinks he's well-read

You just wanted to post that anime girl.

I don't read fiction

>reading anything but the bible

I'm unironically considering this desu. I figure anything that I really need to know, God will reveal to me through Bible and prayer. Obviously, I'd read a different book if I was looking up how to bake a cake or something, but as far as the most important stuff goes...
Of course, it feels ridiculous to listen to mediocre sermons when I could be reading some of this earth's finest theology. Never even got into Augustine. It's a tough call. George Mueller did what I'm thinking of doing, apparently.

I love being in a place where none of these shitposts apply to me

How are you so sure that God will come to you through the Bible and not through a different book like, I dunno, Philip Roth's The Breast?

Don't forget about Aquinas. But yeah, the Bible is definitely the book that you could read forever. Reading through it and going through so many absolutely sublime passages and stories only strengthened my belief in God. You read the Psalms of David and wonder how a human could even write something so utterly beautiful and profound alone. And you never got tired of reading them over and over. I plan on using my memorization and study of the bible in English to help me learn Latin with the Vulgate bible.

so whats your favorite book of the bible?
