She is such a hack. People who treat abstract isms, which can only be supported by other abstract isms; eventually heading down an echo chamber of such contradictory statements, like saying that reality isn't real based on human conception of cause and effect, are dumb. This isn't something that could be independently reached by more than one person, or even reached a priori. It's just other meaningless political ascribing which doesn't go anywhere because it cannot be proven or disproven in means outside of itself.

>Since completing her PhD on anti-feminist online subcultures, Nagle has become an expert on the alt-right, appearing on many television and radio programs.

Someone post her dissertation please. I want to begin to think see just what she thinks she "knows".

Anyone here from DCU, good with technology, or have connections?

Bump

the fuck is that website? buncha pompous 20-something dudes waxing their standard issue polemics.

OH WAIT

Neoreactionary Jacobin

I thought that's what that Jacobite magazine was supposed to be.

Thermidor is pretty cool though.

By the way, theres a new Nick Land essay on Jacobite that came out today.

Great article, thanks for the link mate.

Way too short

good stuff opie, real good stuff

seconding this

>nagle doesn't appear to have interacted much with the typical Veeky Forums users and internet trolls she means to investigate...
>there are no real stories here, only Veeky Forums greentext posts taken at face value, and Nagle never succeeds in getting beyond anonymity to faces and thinking of the people who serve as the subject for her whole book

i bet the catholic threads on Veeky Forums would be a surprise. /pol/ is the star of Veeky Forums ofc and Veeky Forums the neighbours next door. still tho

>the beta male shrinks at the thought of defiling his ideal, even if it turned out her desire for sexual gratification and release was foremost in her psychology as it was in the porn addicted depravity of the typical Veeky Forums user

shots fired
>brb gotta go defile an ideal

>The extreme sensitivity to Jewish socio-political anxieties that has prevailed in the postwar West is notably losing its edge, in a way that doesn’t seem plausibly reversible. At least in part, this is a consequence of the generalization of identity politics, predominantly under leftist direction, which has the peculiar cultural effect – in its late stages – that special cases are becoming increasingly difficult to make. Victimological status bursts its banks, among conditions of unbounded, and symmetrical, ethnic paranoia. Lurid grievance anecdotes – tailored to every imaginable social niche – are always in abundance, fed by Internet supply-lines. Persecution narratives explode from all sides. Demands to “check one’s privilege” have proven awkwardly mobile, and reversible, as they have been increasingly normalized, even to the point – in this particular example – of overt, caustic antisemitism

this is true. to my mind the high ground is still not to invoke JQ. it's the big red button. it's the joker's final trick in TDK. charity > hyperstition
>or is it self-persecution > other persecution girardfag
>that is to say ressentiment
>how about we talk about something else
>he's an anarcho-masochist, building a theme park for psychopaths
>peter jordanson did nothing wrong

>Plenty of conservatives hate Trump, and will continue to hate him, probably until the end of his second term in office, if not longer.

second term
>words

>but the way liberals hate him poses an obvious existential threat to all forms of conservative life. As Martin Niemöller never quite said, first they came for Trump and it was pretty damn obvious I was next in the queue

hate a thing

going to watch the trump speech now
>america loves poland
>and america loves the polish people

is trump playing 4d chess
is tic-tac-toe the true form of 4d chess
are things things
these are things i don't understand anymore

Wake me up when you all can get your hands on that pdf of her actual dissertation instead of secondary source posts and articles about her work.

I think this whole board has been overrun by Nick Land and a bunch of his AI bots. Their only goal so far is to make as many threads about him and his philosophy as they can do within reason.

Veeky Forums is intellectual /pol/ now. Don't fight it, just embrace the change.

Really cant thank you enough for bringing this to my attention

>good stuff opie
>>nagle doesn't appear to have interacted much
this post is surreal.

>someone currently on Veeky Forums was not only around for the old nrx discussions on /pol/ and saw my shitty oc, but saved it and reposted it years later

Your picture ended up in a Veeky Forums banner m8. It's pretty popular

>Nick Land
>Planning

The plan arrived on its own from the future, reforging things into the way they were always going to be.

No fucking way. I haven't seen it. Maybe you're talking about the Tzeentch Veeky Forums banner, which I didn't draw btw. I just cut and pasted Land's head to that drawing cause I thought it was funny. So did he, actually.

Yes, but that's less amendable to silly memes.

Before we can have the time to even consider the possibility of the silliness of a meme, T H I C C appears from the Outside (twitter), omnipresent and all-consuming

So this what the fanged new meme nah looks like after all?

Assuming Tzeentch is that bird thing, that's what he means. Not the copypasted head.

Never understood why it was a banner, tbqh.

bump

I already miss the days when our meme philosopher was Zizek

/pol/ and intellectual are mutually exclusive

deleuze > land
>maybe even mcluhan > land

land is a problem but even he knows lovecraft.net is a bad scene

it's not over yet & maybe it never will be

Nice polemics

Kantbot's review was better.

The whole Kantbot/Faceberg/ 'frog twitter' scene is always so depressing desu

Anyone found that Nagle woman's dissertation yet?

>he isn't post-ironically accelerationist
