I've been learning it for a few months, mainly because I love visiting Iceland. The language is really interesting and fun to learn, but the subtleties of pronunciation are difficult for this English speaker.

I was using a public computer of my college and I found in the download folder an Icelandic textbook. It was weird, because it was in a Philosophy faculty in Spain.
Perhaps that Computer was used by Guillermo el Bastardo whilst he was trying to connect with his roots.
