Life is about bending them slimmies over, plenty Bentleys and Rovers, half-naked women for limmy chauffeurs, crib with the Fendi sofas, black Cosa Nostras, crack Jehovas stacking like Sosa, tailormade suits with Gucci penny loafers, MAC-10s in holsters for rats and vultures.

What's a slimmie?

Comic, interwoven narratives questioning reality, identity and meaning in a combination of hard cyberpunk and magical surrealist settings.

Name one interesting character you have please.

It's an attractive female men daydream about.

a regular american family growing up in the suburbs and regular daily life things happen, it's 900 pages but very deep

A young man becomes a friend and accomplice to a wealthy drug dealer and discovers he's a serial killer who's been manipulating the main character's entire life.

It uses an automated post scarcity socialist utopia as a way of breaking down identity, belonging, culture, and purpose. I want to illustrate that having everything will not make you fulfilled, that spiritual fulfillment can't be provided by the state.

I want to convey the sadness one should feel at the loss of culture and community that comes with globalism. The sadness that comes when one cannot relate their identity to their past or too their community in a heavily individualistic society where there are no strong links to the past, I believe they will feel lost. I believe jobs also serve as a crucial part of a persons identity, when they don't have to work and don't have a routine their sense of purpose is eroded as they lose site of their place in society. I want to criticize socialism by a juxtaposition of the beauty of the socialist utopia and the main characters violent internal struggle.

I just read that you said I needed to do it in 85 words or less oops

A wild romp, a tour-de-force of modern America. Astounding. Brilliant. A rare feat a true treat.

Go on.

In the world everyone is very similar. They're all infantilized (everyone is basically experiencing peter pan syndrome), as the state acts as a surrogate parent. The state and government is an A.I refereed to as "mother" it was produced to ensure the survival and well being of man.
(The mother A.I is meant to be a representation of the devouring mother archetype, it does everything it can to protect mankind but as a result it is doing more harm than good by shielding them from everything)

All citizens have their all have their basic needs taken care of and as a result have no need to learn beyond the entertainment of learning, however most choose not to learn as they are not given the drive to because they will never need a job, or to compete intellectually, they choose other pleasurable and simple tasks to occupy themselves.

None of the citizens have experiences struggle in the lifetime, they cannot handle the struggle that comes with learning and so choose to exist in a pleasure society.

Many of the citizens are indistinguishable as they never truly developed individual personalities because they largely do not experience the experiences and events in ones life that build ones personality. Experiences like struggle, pain, the ecstasy of personal accomplishments, the simple joy of learning, the personality you build in relation to your community is not present because there are no small communities anyone, everything is homogeneous. The personality you get from ancestry is not present, many fundamental cultural archetypes are lost as the world has become post culture. People lose the part of the personality that they acquire from the sense of duty they get from a job and the happiness they get from knowing their place in society. People essentially float around, never having any grounding in society.

The main characters dilemma comes from discover a trove of literature, discovering that before society existed as it does to him today, there was much more meaning to be garnered from life, this sparks a crisis of identity, as he struggles to find a way to ground himself and find his place in a society that has robbed him of identity. He begins to resent the system he is in. He becomes increasingly erratic and is then targeted by the mother as a threat to the well being of society.

Thats about as far as I've gotten in the plot, Im not sure how I want to end it yet.

The story isnt very developed yet and theres a lot Id like to change, I feel like with what Ive written so far Im not hitting all the points id like to and driving the points home.

Ill probably sit on this book for a while before I cant really figure out how I want to accomplish it. At the moment it seems like most people might find it tack or boring. What does Veeky Forums think of my novels ideas and direction?

>man masturbates too much, hangs self

Stealing this.

The protagonist is a man who wished to be alone. He wakes up finding everyone on the planet, including all animals, birds, etc. Have gone. We spend the entire book with him as he slowly drifts in and out of madness. He discovers he is being followed near the end of the book. He tries to find the person following him. Turns out it was just him pretending to be followed the whole time. In the end he dies of heatstroke when hiking. The end.
