Damn. I've read 16 of the 26 and I fancy myself as non-politically inclined....

Anyone have a link to the western phil google doc guide?

This?

What does exit level mean? If it means "hard to read", then should I postpone reading Stoner since I am new to Literature?

...

...

...

Exit level means you read it before you exit life. Stoner is a very accessible book, but it makes you want to die, and so it's exit level.

does someone actually have an /out/ chart, or an /outlit/ guide? will settle for a diy chart

...

are these lists just arbitrary or is there some sort of community consent?

How to become a mentally ill libtard: The List

nice

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Good now make a version that is readable.

Reminder that is just a fake chart anyways.

>aristotle
>augustine and aquinas
>federalist papers
>smith
>tocqueville

progressives & rawlsians are not fans of these people

he saw marx and cried about it

Everything in that list from Hegel and onward is trash.

ok tru

Nice list. I'd recommend swapping out Aristotle's Metaphysics for the Nicomachean Ethics. The latter is as influential as the former, and most books of the Metaphysics are probably too complex, like G or Z. For entry-level readers books A and D of the Metaphysics would suffice.

>2700x2450
>unreadable

Is there more to medieval philosophy than just aquinas and the bible?

Needs Mosca and/or Pareto

Why is The Idiot in the list?

>when the racism meme becomes a full person

>no Shakespeare

...

...

kek is that Philippot?

90% of that chart are reference manuals. it's a good list of books if you want to get more in depth about something you're interested in, but to imply that one should slog through all those books in order, as if it's a good way to learn, is complete stupidity.

good shit, desu

stoner doesn't make you want to die
you already wanted to die idiot

KANGZ

/out/ I guess

>tfw I got excited thinking it meant self-improvement

yes, reading will make you more liberal orientated

missing das kapital :/

I really wish /pol/ had better ambassadors than this.

but that's wrong you brainlet

missing de bord

...

>Common sense is mental illness

Nupol MAGA the_donald people completely ruined the board

This is stupid. If it's going to be a Veeky Forums guide make it relevant to the board instead of putting good books in general

The immense retardation.

if anyone wants to make a new list i'll make a chart. there are never enough new ones

yes please:

>A superior gentleman guide to cultivating his mind
Fuck that, I want to be a SUPREME gentleman.

That's a meme tho.

Anyone have a JQ list?

Could somebody create a "Conservative Literature" list? I don't mean modern day """conservatism""" seen by the likes of the Conservative Party (UK), Republican Party (US) or other modern forms of conservatism, I more mean the conservatism that comes from the likes of Peter Hitchens and Roger Scruton. Right-wing literature guides are usually just full of esoteric fascist and identitarian works.

What makes something "bashit crazy" worthy?

>Ecclesiastes instead of Proverbs for aphorisms
Who the hell made this

That Quran translation is almost incomprehensible

Should have gone with one of these

Abdul Haleem
>We have adorned the earth with attractive things so that We may test people to find out which of them do best, but We shall reduce all this to barren dust.

Yusuf Ali
>That which is on earth we have made but as a glittering show for the earth, in order that We may test them - as to which of them are best in conduct. Verily what is on earth we shall make but as dust and dry soil (without growth or herbage).

Muhammad Asad
>Behold, We have willed that all beauty on earth be a means by which We put men to a test, [showing] which of them are best in conduct; and, verily, [in time] We shall reduce all that is on it to barren dust!

is there any reading list for historical novels set in ancient times or the early middle ages?
books like:
>Joseph and His Brothers by Mann
>Baudolino by Eco
>The Once and Future King by TH White
I'm not looking for realism but rather for novels which are more about the myths and spirituality of those times
or if there aren't any lists, just give me some similar recs, please

Way of the Wyrd is a novel about Anglo Saxon spirituality
