Favorite Local Joints

Anyone have a local hole-in-the-wall that they love? Pic related is my favorite. Comforting atmosphere and the tikka masala is to die for.

You know exactly why you posted this. Anyway, all the tucked away places here aren't really tucked away, and the quality varies too much to say whether it's good or not.

Sichuan chinese restaurant in my city that is single handedly responsible for me gaining like 30 pounds. Not my fault at all. The food is criminally good

Not really super hole in the wall but it's kinda not super aesthetically up to date which in some ways makes it nicer looking than other diners. Love me my diner.

You obviously eat like a fucking pig for the rest of the day to gain 30lb. That is an immense amount of fat to put on. Dont blame the chinese food.

Actual authentic chinese food makes me shit (a good kind of shit), not sure how you gain weight from it.

Honey Bee Ham.

Hands down, the best burgers within 30 miles of me.

Great service, excellent price, everything they serve is top-tier (especially their deserts).

I'm just afraid that they're on their last leg, in terms of finances. Every time I go, they're largely empty and it seems like their hours are getting shorter and shorter (they close at 4:00PM on Saturday, for example). Their bread is so fucking good. I'm pretty sure they bake it in store and it makes everything from their burgers to their po' boys 10/10.

If you're in the north-Houston area, definitely swing by, you will be amazed.

Sichuan food is so great. Only thing I ordered that I didn't care for was the seafood hotpot, not sure if it was their means of seasoning or if I just don't like the stuff. But everything is worth a try at least once.
