Himalayan Salt Soup

There's nothing like a steaming bowl of salt soup to soothe the spirit.

i unironically once made a soup on salt, pepper, olive oil and love

That's all the ingredients to make a noose minus the rope.

For me it's seawater

Needs more thyme

British cooking is really getting out of hand.

I really love Himalayan Salt.

Ive been using it for all my cooking at home for years now instead of kosher salt.

Its a crystal salt like kosher salt but it has all the minerals and trace elements you body needs.

Its pink because of the elemental Iron in it that your red blood needs.

I have one of these for Sugar and one for Salt in my kitchen.

The one for salt says salt on it.

Its great for just taking out a pinch and tossing it in your dish. The lid swivels and is magnetic.

>trace elements

Veeky Forums likes variety.

We eat to satiate the hunger for the things we need in our body.

All the foods we eat give our body this sustenance. Each one has its own profile.

The Himalayan salt has a very well balanced ratio of minerals and trace elements. Its also unpolluted because its mined from oceans that dried up hundreds of millions of years ago.

kala namak smells like rotten eggs

I thought the magnesium made it pink

Health hippies aside, Himalayan salt tastes different than table salt. Like fleur de sel, it has it's uses beyond nutrients.
