Wow paying for a tutoring service, what a scam. Just the idea of compensating someone for their time and expertise and exchanging money for a service in the most ridiculous one I've ever heard. If he truly loved philosophy he would not only create videos for free, but also talk to every idiot on the internet for free, even though he would get nothing out of that. True philosophers live on welfare and Starbucks jobs.

There's no way you do a half-hour video on every paragraph from Phenomenology of Spirit if you're a scammer. Nobody is that dedicated.

Are any of his videos good? Is he decent in philosophy? He seems mostly to discuss continental philosophy, which is off putting.

Back when i was 16 i was in a pretty shit public school, was never really a good student and i hung out with some bad company—long story short i developed a heavy meth addiction. I managed to hold on to a job at burger king for a while so i didn't have too much trouble funding it, but my dealer was a real jackass and kept hiking the prices. It was beginning to get skin-and-bone for my next fix and i needed to make money somehow, i was a decent looking guy, pretty effeminate, so i turned to escorting. It turns out women wanted the muscular types i couldn't get a penny just doing straight jobs, so i eventually turned to gay prostitution. I wasn't really into it but it financed my addiction, anyway, 6 months into it i get a call from a guy who called himself "Mr. S". I didn't think much of it at the time, plenty of clients used fake names, though it was odd that he wanted me to wear a purple silk bathrobe. I met him at his house, He had a pony-tail and glasses, a bit of a beard as well. a rotund figure to be sure, but that certainly wasn't new; I'd had plenty of porkers pork me before. The most bizarre thing was that he had nothing on but a bed sheet wrapped around him. I followed him into his bedroom and i expected us to get right to it, so i began to kneel in front of him when he stopped me and said "Uhh... Do you mind if we act out a scene first?", "sure" i said, it was pretty normal for clients to want to recreate their favorite porno. We both stripped and he said he wanted to wrestle first. I'm a thin guy and the meth didn't help, so i didn't really stand much of a chance. He kept pinning me down with his weight and breathing on the back of my neck. Honestly i'm not really gay but i was getting pretty hot and bothered. I kept expecting him to pin me down and have his way but he didn't do anything. After that we went to his kitchen and ate together, he was talking about love and virtue and kept calling me a weird name that sounded like "sobriety's" or something, i kinda just nodded my head and uh-huh'd through it. Finally we went back to his room and he kinda just laid down on his bed and pulled to sheet over himself, seeming to go to sleep. Eventually i asked him "are you asleep?", "no, no, not at all" he snickered. I was pretty confused so i crawled under the sheets with him, assuming he just wanted to fuck me now, but he still did nothing. it was like i was laying down with an older brother or something. We laid like that for an hour or so and then i just left, he still payed me but it was really weird.
