What is your favorite hot sauce Veeky Forums?

Just ordered a bottle of secret aardark, what am I in for?

A runny, sweet sauce with a kick. A lot of people compare it to spicy mayo for good reason.

fresh peppers

If I like Louisiana and Valentina, would I like Frank's Red Hot?

I'm not particularly fond of Frank's Red Hot. There are much better sauces like Crystal.

Tabasco/habanero Tabasco. I like vinegary foods anyway so the regular Tabasco is good, and the flavor of the fermented peppers goes well with most things. The habanero Tabasco is good if you want something with more flavor because it has mango and onion and some other stuff.

>t. patrician
Habanero Tabasco is the best Tabasco.

>fresh peppers

Out of the easily available hot sauces I like extra hot El Yucateco and chipotle Cholula but there's a few stores around here that carry a wide variety so I like to get a new one every time. I'm also not sure what this image is trying to imply.
A thick sauce without much vinegar that has strong flavor but isn't very spicy. I remember it being kind of mustardy.

Yellowbird habanero

What did they mean by this?

Reads exactly like a comfy NEET post from /r9k/

Soyboy nu males want to feel manly by eating hot sauce with their fakon

I like to mix some 'racha and some 'vark and put it on my tofu bacon.

Sriracha.

I like that jalapeno and garlic flavor.

I'm sure there's some way better version than Huy Fong brand out there.

Off OP I reeeeally like Crystal. The Louisiana is great too. Also Trappeys

Crystal is the shit.

It has to be made with crystal meth, it's too good.

Crystal Extra Hot is elder god tier.

>like Crystal and Louisiana
>try frank’s
>vomiting for 6 hours afterward
>it has garlic powder in it

NOT EVERYTHING IS BETTER WITH GARLIC REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

The commercials alone should've been a red flag.

Honestly I have to make my own. Not being snooty; just know exactly what I want. Ketchup consistency, zero vinegar, minimal garlic/onions, and a high heat. Not insane, but up there. Serranos, habaneros and chili--pureed. Then pureed ginger and jalapeños. All peppers have seed in. Two bowls so far. Then Sambal as a base in a third bowl, and you add to taste. Gotta experiment....

Standard Tabasco

i've tried probably 100's of different and specialty hot sauces, right now all i have in my fridge is tapatio, yucateca and tabasco i think i might be hot sauced out as i don't really eat the shit anymore

frank's is pretty much only good for making buffalo wings, we grow our own habaneros and roast them just to mix it with franks

desu I get it on burgers at 5 guys and its decent

Huy has kind of capped the market with a signature taste sort of like Heinz ketchup. There very well could be better ketchup out there, but people expect name brand.

lel it's so true

>not reaching for the best you'll ever taste
ISHYGDDT

>comparing 'racha to 'chup
I see what you did there.

I'm a casual when it comes to hot sauce. But, cholula is bland and no heat. So if I was going for flavor it would be siracha and for heat it would be tabasco

I go thru this stuff so freaking fast. It is delicious and use it on everything like soylent, tofu, and soybeans. Its not extremely hot, unless you douse your food in it, which I tend to do often. It is expensive though, and doesn't last long in my fridge.

the texas pete hotter version
louisiana
garlic tabasco on pizza, but I can't find it around here anymore

>frank's is good for making buffalo wings
"No!"

Is the garlic pepper tabasco hot or mild?

I still use tapatio out of habit. Love the texture of sriracha mayo on fries.

Is there a good jalapeno hot sauce with a touch of lemon or lime?

if I had to guess, I'd say it's like 1,000 to 2,000 SHU
milder than normal tabasco, but it has a nice flavor

That sounds delicious, I'm sorry you can't find it anymore. Try Amazon?

This is an exquisite hot sauce. I highly reccomend it.

I love Crystal's

You have your head up your ass

Marie Sharps Belizean heat 10/10 on flavor and heat balance.

The non foodie part of me favorites the smoked Tobasco.

These two are nationally findable, none of your local/craft/rare sauces.

Crystal tastes like poverty, delicious slave food.

>Not being snooty; just know exactly what I want.
>Gotta experiment....
What did he mean by this?

tabasco is essential for pepperoni pizza imo.

that sharp, vinegary bite cuts through the grease.

I was dissapointed actually, if you want really simple terms, it tastes like a way more improved Taco Bell sauce. Now doesn't sound too bad, right? Just not what I had in mind and for the purposes I was gonna use it for.

wait so is tabasco good for greasy foods
t. cooking illiterate lurker

If you don't like aardvark sauce that's fine (your wrong) but you don't have to be rude.

is it thick or runny what the fuck

>spicy mayo
You we're the brainlet all along

thick

runny

I make my own from serrano, onion, garlic, water, apple cider vinegar, whatever fruit I feel like, and a dash of salt and sugar. I boil everything down until the peppers and onions are well softened and the moisture has evaporated then blend it up.

cheeky nando's hot sauce

>only because the godforsaken marts only sell tabasco and that what in the fuck

good taste

...

How did the aardvark hurt you?

For me it's Crucials Spicy Mayo. The best hot sauce.

>zero vinegar
numale spotted

>not recognizing fresh pasta
leave please i'm asking nicely

yes, absolutely
whenever i put it on sub sandwiches i make sure to add some olive oil first
pure Veeky Forumsino

Just biked ten kilometers to buy this.

I cant find it on their website and im not sure if i can get it to germany

Where did you get it from? Looks amazing

Say what you will about Badia, but I quite like their habanero hot sauce.

This sauce is the shit, too bad you can't buy it in a bottle

tripple fillet bondi burger with this sauce is heavenly

I sell individual bottles of Oporto Extremo Picante Sauce for $7 a bottle. I just refill empty tabasco bottles. Do you want some?

Wtf there's more than one flavor of Tabasco?

...

My gf works at oporto and steals all the little tubs I'll ever need

frank's red hot > all

>Honestly I have to make my own. Not being snooty; just know exactly what I want. Ketchup consistency, zero vinegar, minimal garlic/onions, and a high heat. Not insane, but up there. Top and bottom are both fucking trash

>liking cholula and valentinos
thanks for showing us all how horrible of a palate you have

Why do numales open their mouths in every picture?

What is your favourite sauce, honey baby?

tapatio is breddy gud

dont call me honey ever again

Eres un marica

I accidentally put 'vark sauce on my sesame chicken and it was too sweet.

Am I the only one who just hasn't had a mango anything I've liked? It tastes kinda like a mix of sweet and rotten, and it kinda stings when I swallow it. Might I just be allergic to it or something?

Try Adoboloco

Sounds like some hipster shit made for faggots
>made in portland

I was right.

The ingredients are hobby grade locally sourced in Maui

Try 'vark sauce

Coward

Cholula, sauce of the gods. No more to say, tastes great with everything.

the taste is addictive for me which is why it's one of my favorite hot sauces. people complain about it being not spicy enough but when i want more of a kick i just add a dash of el yucateco or any hotter sauce.

Which way is the backwards peace sign? Because pointing the backs of those two fingers is a pretty rude gesture in some regions, right? So is the backward peace sign pointing the back of your fingers at them or the front of your fingers at them?

I love valentina and tasbasco is fcking delicious in eggs, but sriracha has some fine uses too.

What do you recommend to substitute franks in wing sauce?

For Mexican style I like San Luis Hot Sauce or Cholula.

For non-Mexican I'll use whatever's available as long as it's not one of those sweet / fruity hot sauces.

Valentina. That bitch goes on popcorn, potato chips, chicharrones de harina, whatever

the bitcoin of meme sauce. bow down to the king

>no soy sauce

one job

huy fong chili garlic sauce (the stuff in a plastic jar) is way better

to me it tastes like taco bell hot sauce meets a generic caribbean pepper sauce.

I don't find it particularly spicy but it's a bit too sweet for my taste. I likely won't replace it once i'm finished.

so disgustingly sweet, 1/10
