Like what?

psycho pass more like gaycho pass

I can't remember the exact line, you'd have to check. Like it says, "no works are specifically named".
Real mature pal lmfao

I want to read something that has an antagonist like Makishima

psycho pass more like i will pass

Thanks

Makishima was the hero of Psycho Pass

He really was, too bad he enjoyed the more murderous aspects of his revolution too much.

I really wanted him to succeed, just for the hell of it.

Me too, but if there's hope for any system its Sybil. An inhuman, yet human, system.

Holy... BTFO

Sybil by Flora Rheta Schreiber ?

Was it mentioned in the show or just referenced because the name of the system?

Wtf I suddenly love Psycho Pass!

Is this actually good? With character designs that shit I have a hard time believing that anything about the show is bearable.

It's better than 90% of anime.

That's not saying very much.

It's the best thing I can say about it.

It sounds pretty shit then.

You sound pretty shit then.

At least I'm not Pyscho-Pass

You could only dream of being Psycho-Pass

Thanks yo, downloading right now

>On Veeky Forums
>judging something by its cover

You deserve not to enjoy quality writing.

Covers are generally a pretty good guide as to general quality. For example, anything which has a generic fantasy name and a guy wearing a hood on the cover is sure to be garbage.

I found the character design of psycho pass edgy nonsense and would have discarded for the same reason. I understand what you're saying, I just think it's a bad rule. Unless it's like, moe shit.

I think it's a very good rule.

I can't stop you from being stupid man. Do you.

this

Understandable since I thought the same, but I swear the mong face of the protag grows on you over time

lol and her dumb bowlcut

A book's cover is chosen by some semi-literate publisher who probably never even read the thing after the fact. An anime's visual direction is a conscious decision made by the creator in most circumstances. If they have shit taste there isn't it reasonable to assume they might be a pleb all over?

>No Catcher in the Rye
Surprise, looks like I'll still prefer Ghost in the Shell

>Sybil, I am a... Psycho Pass.

And Veeky Forums likes this anime.

If anything that's a perk and a reason to prefer Psycho Pass over Ghost in the Shell!

dark humanism is best humanism

counterpoint

>prefer Psycho Pass over Ghost in the Shell!
This board can't be saved.

I would have specified but I don't quite know how to describe it, the bad covers are the ones where it's actually a stock-photo tier picture of an actual guy wearing a head in front of a mostly white background that looks like it was thrown together using photoshop in an hour. You know, all of these edgy Assassin's Creed-posing faggot covers with names like 'blade's edge chronicles'.

Shadow of the Torturer's cover is better on so many levels. First off I'm not a pleb so I immediately get hard when I see Papa Pringle's name on a cover, secondly this was hand-drawn, meaning not published in the last 15 years, meaning much less likely to be unreadable anime-in-prose garbage, thirdly there's a black cloak and a sword but in what's easily the most creative black cloak+sword cover of all time. Look at those frills, look at that staircase thing, look at those little heads. This is clearly more than just Garreth Gobblecock and his band of edgy men fucking around preparing for some bullshit fantasy heist or something.

I never said I prefer Psycho Pass over Ghost in the Shell. Nice reading comprehension dude. I just treat Catcher in the Rye like the shit it is.

CAUSE I FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL

Such a dank opening
That book is shit

How does Psycho Pass stack up to Berserk?

Didn't urobuchi admit to reading basically none of the referenced works?

Psycho Pass is finished for one, and Berserk is never going to be done

Sibyl did nothing wrong

Source please
Ehhhhhhhh

I couldn't find anything, so maybe it's bullshit or i'm remembering wrong, but a few years ago i swear i read an interview with him where he said it, an example being that he hadn't read Dick because the English was too hard or something

If he didn't read them then he is a sparknotes wizards.
