THE TORAH!

Catholics keep throwing new books at us bible nerds, but we all know that nothing beats the books of Moshe

All non-scientologists welcome

Hello, fellow Jews!

How is everyone enjoying themselves on this fine Friday morning?

It's the birthday of Virgin Mary so I'm enjoying meat.

מה יש לומר

Is there a reason why there weren't any more prophets after Jesus?

I realize the Talmud adds commentary to the Torah, but is there any reason why the Torah ends where it does?

Shalom!

After the Tanakh (old testament) and Talmud, rabbinic tradition follows.

As for prophecy, we already know what we need to know. The only thing to add would be more specifics about the Messiah, and it's already really tough for anyone to check all the boxes.
Not even Jesus completely fulfilled the prophecies (look it up christfags)

Shalom

Because Christ was the Messiah, what would be the point?

tell me about the dead sea scrolls, the essenes and their "teacher of Righteousness"

Something I find tiresome is people who clearly haven't read the talmud, attempting to talk about what it is.

Yom Kippur is the most Veeky Forums holiday
>you can't eat or drink
>you can't use electricity
>there's literally nothing to do but read

How can the goyim even compete?

אשכול מעולה

Because now people who hear voices are considered crazy

>Who is Muhammad

If I wanted to convert to Judaism, and worship Moloch, when would I get my Jew gold? Also, is there some kind of head Jew who can get me started with sniffing out shekels?

Well, there's also the huge aspect of begging forgiveness for the sins you did all year and praying for the souls of those who died.

A rapist pedophile megalomaniacal psychopathic warlord false prophet, that's who he was.

>This is what christcucks believe
LMAO

Is this canon?

>Is there a reason why there weren't any more prophets after Jesus?
But there have been prophets.

Of the 'false' variety.

just speculating but my guess is because the destruction of the temple in 70 AD and the subsequent diaspora created a lack of a central location for some a prophet to say his stuff

(((The Torah)))
