I'm about to buy this books

I'm about to buy this books.

Since I'm a Christian myself, I'm interested in other examples of good Christian literature.

Can you guys recommend me some?

God helps those who help themselves

Book of the new sun

A sci-fi with Catholic elements.

Sounds good, thanks, user.

Dude I'm not even a Christian but god damn that book is amazing.
I can't think of any other book that brought about such a visceral reaction towards the end, I wish I could forget the book so I could read it all again.
Have you read pilgrim's progress yet?

>Pilgrim's progress

Nope, but I just did a quick research.

Seems an interesting book, should I buy it?

And thanks, you just hyped more Silence to me

Not strictly christian, but life of pi might interest you if you haven't read it.

Dostoyevsky if you weren't already into him.

I consider both Les Miserables and The Brothers Karamazov to be heavily influenced by Christianity. If that counts.

I did not know The Brothers Kamarazov were influenced by Christianity, thanks.

I have The Glamber, does that counts?

90% of the Canon.

Dostoevsky like said

CS Lewis and Tolkien had very heavy influences in their own fiction work

Kierkegaard is breddy gud if you like more heavier, philosophical stuff

You really haven't read Pilgrim's Progress?

If you haven't, you should. And Bunyan's The Holy War.

Graham Greene

two books very similar to this, in certain atmospheric and/or thematic elements, are death comes for the archbishop and the sparrow.

Dostoevski wasn't Christian.

Thanks, anons.

Who wrote the sparrow?

mary doria russell

its a "sci fi" book but dont let that deceive you, it's largely literary fiction .

A Canticle for Leibowitz

This, The Power and the Glory and The End of the Affair.

Also the works of Sigrid Undset, especially The Master of Hestviken

Death Comes for the Archbishop is fantastic, but I saw less of a Christian message than purely a life well lived.

Also Laurus, hope it becomes Meta for christian reading.
