this, i lived in china for 3 months and Audi drivers there are lightyears worse than BMW drivers in the US. In big cities they'll just drive on the sidewalk if there's a traffic jam (Tianjin in particular was pretty horrible). I saw one batter a motorcyclist out of the way with his A6L

No different than the USA gun culture. When I was in junior high school, my geography teacher said it was better that some people die than to live and sue you. In high school, my electronics teacher said that if you had to defend yourself on your property, then you should make sure they are dead. That way they can't tell a different story against you and sue you for all your assets. In college, I got much the same story. And now, my neighbor says that if I shoot, I should kill them or else they will live and sue me.
So the USA is quite full of kill them and it will be cheaper and easier lawsuit-wise.
