Whats the best way to get abs quickly?
I stopped lifting 4 months ago and before i was lifting for 1 year
I feel like i made 0 gains and want to have atleast some abs during summer?
Can you recommend me good exercises/routines?
Im also not afraid of doing cardio

95% of having abs is low bodyfat.
The other 5% is actually having ab mass. Your best bet is leaning out. You have to gain some fat to build muscle, which if you're trying into ab-mode will probably be counter productive.

Lean out. Enjoy your babby abs and bulk properly over the next year so you don't this problem next summer.

Leg raises, either hanging or in captain's chair. Windshield wipers if your core is even stronger. I recommend both since wipers is more for obliques as well. I also do russian twists with a 12kg ball for obliques, and cable crunches for front abs.

You're way too late with that plan. Maybe you can get them next summer, if you plan ahead better next time.

By front abs I obviously mean your abdominals. But if you're serious, cable crunches. They work the back as well. Or roman chair back raises, weighted if you like.

You can't get abs quickly. That's why most people don't have them. You have to bring your body fat down and your skin has to adapt to the weight loss.

Just do hanging leg raises. Duet will take care of the rest

I know I am a bit late but i just came out of a 5 months depression..

Good luck man. Remember to go higher rep, I usually just go until failure on all sets when doing isolations. Pic is me a month ago for reference. My abs are pretty much what I have going for me.

OP here's what you gotta do

>put both of your feet on the ball with your hands on the ground in a push up position
>with your feet still on the ball, bring your knees to your chest
>5x15 superset with 30 sec planks
This combined with a good diet will get you abs within 2 months. I also recommend leg raises and green beret crunches to hit your upper and lower abs

Ahahaha jokes on you. I've gained 8kg since I started, which was 4 months ago last week. I used to do competitive cross country running so I was super skelly. I'm happy about my progress though.

No wonder you didn't make any gains mate.

If you want abs you don't bulk.
Use the ab wheel.
Also do planks. You should be able to hold it for 2 mins for standard core strength. 4 mins for great abs

Twisting crunches and pike ups.
Emphasize range of motion, long stretch and deep contraction. Focus on the rolling of the spine during crunches to build segmented abs.

You can't gain that much lean muscle mass, and by the proportions of mass gains I think you bulked too hard and got fat

Other than that, I'd say you develop your abs with other exercises as long as you take care of your good posture and form.

My main pushing exercises are push-ups with added weight on your back and dumbbell OHP, alternating between one and two arms at a time. Both of these exercises require you to use your abs for the exercise to target the right muscles.

With low weights (50-150 kg) I do deadlift with feet inside arms. The point here is to alternate the angle of your ass, the width of your grip, and how bent your knees are, with focus on your lower stomach and buttocks being totally tightened, learn to keep your weight on your heels, pull your shoulders back and down. While lifting, at the top, stand in good posture and hold the bar for a while before slowly lowering it back down.

don't bulk, don't cut
Just start doing HIIT around 3 times a week
the first week, do 5 sets of 30 seconds as hard as possible and 60 seconds resting, the second week do 30-30 and keep it until you can make more sets
this is the best way to lower your bodyfat without losing muscle
also if you're preparing for a specific date you're going to the beach with friends or something, or you're gonna take a sick picture for tinder, you might wanna try 8-10 days without carbs
I wouldn't do this, basically because I've had this goal in mind since last year and I've been earning it the proper way, but with your body, it wouldn't take much more than this.
by mid-july or august you could have some visible abs

Do a set of lumbar raises for each an set. Some people get badly unbalanced from overdoing abs and not doing back.
