Not familiar with rts. What does this mean?
Probably gonna do birthday squats today.

How was that a miss!?
acctually read this instead
downwards bar movement
Downward movement of the bar during the lift.
Thanks friend. Cant wait for summer and just fuck my shit up with pm.
SUMMONING SHEIKO EXPERT
the bar dips slightly before i locked it out, not sure if my foot slipped because the bar dipped or the bar dipped because my foot slipped.
Would have been a 14kg pr
good luck, you'll need it
also look out for virtus, he's doing it at the moment
You will NEVER be Hancott.
So do grinders tend to be red lit often? I knew about hitching but if it dipped like a couple inches on a deadlift I see no real advantage to it or anything, at least it got up right?dont get the rule.
eating a Costco cinnamon bun with a cup of coffee
>tfw got 290 3x5 despite shit rest/eating
Maybe I can hit 4pl8 1RM by the end of the year
since we were on the topic of following written programming like a robot
i hope you choke on it
>How was that a miss!?
>i dont know basic rules of a simple lift
I guess it shows that i wasn't in full control of the weight.
Pointless post.
Re: grinding in general, it depends on the judge. Some will red light anything that doesn't look like a warm up, some are cool with you challenging the bar to mortal combat. The bar dropping several inches is never going to fly, though.
Hey Fuck you leatherhead
Meanwhile, he's still running rack pulls and pin press in his routine despite asking his coach to remove them, following the programming like a scared little manlet.
>thinks he knows better than a world record holder in the ipf who also owns a succesfull coaching company and is also a coach himself
it was delicious, time to go squat : ^)
>Some will red light anything that doesn't look like a warm up
What
Or maybe he just trusts his coach?
I'm the guy from the last thread that asked for the squat form check.
youtube.com
Does my form at least look okay with lower weight?
youtube.com
I'll try adding in some pause squats and going a bit deeper when it gets heavy. Is my form good enough to try out Sheiko or will I just get wrecked?
>So do grinders tend to be red lit often
not if there are done correctly
>dont get the rule.
its the same for all lifts
you have to show control, just getting it up doesnt mean anything
when i tell you if you let go of the bar at the top of the deadlift its red lights is going to blow your mind
>Some will red light anything that doesn't look like a warm up
m8 what
never had this issue in any meet
which weight class has the most genetic highways?
...
83
>Or maybe he just trusts his coach?
>do as I say, not as I do
>personalize your program and enjoy it, except when the program says otherwise
Then what's the point of that post? None, it doesn't make any sense, it's a pointless post.
83 and 93 are usually the most talented classes as a whole. But obvious there are outlyers in the other classes
IN
>genetic highways
What does this even mean?
all of them Tbh
lol did jp tell him no
It means lucky faggots that will always be ahead of us because they rolled high on conception.
i would assume the opposite of a genetic dead end.
120+
Pointless post.
WAKE ME UP INSIDE
[can't wake up]
You know how the judges at the paralympics red light people for slightly uneven extension, being shaky, and whatnot? Had a USAPL meet where one of the judges was like that. Dude had a hair trigger. He was a one off, though.
>thinks he knows better than a world record holder
I record holder that can't even make the same informed decision for himself that he's telling everyone else to do. If someone of his calibre is unable to change minute details in his programming as he deems fit, how is an inexperienced, weaker lifter supposed to?
looks like you misgrooved the second rep
yeah, hips dropped back in the hole. tilted forward.
First rep looked p good though
first one looked a bit high anyway
but good job you are getting close
It's okay, at least you can do 470. I just finished my first C6W cycle with a questionable depth triple at 295
>that head shake after the first rep
Funny, I do the same thing right before I fail a rep.
My routine
Axbxa and so on
A: ohp, bp, squat
B: bor, chin/pull up, dl.
All 3x5 plus warm ups, aiming for strength.
Any useful recomendation? Pls no austism.
and no one confronted him on his reasoning for the reds and that his reasoning wasnt a rule?
you juts needed to push your knees forward and drive your hips under the bar and you would have had it
>judges
>listening to anyone
:(
>judges
thats where you went wrong, probably some uspa fed or something
why is it that the 93 squat wr is only 303.5kg? both haack and gibbs could touch that on a really good day
tBh it looks like you take a LONG time between reps and after unracking it.
You could try having more of a sense of urgency when you unrack it to get the set done. instead of breathing harder to catch your breath, taking a couple big deliberate breathes to get your brace.
kek not the first time I've done that either
not worried about depth anymore. I know I hit it.
Is this Gnucks cue? Because I've heard this before. I agree though. Honestly there was so much forward pitch that there is way I could have recovered that with my calves
D:
>I know I hit it.
know is a bit of a stong word
but i like your spirit buddy
keep it up
When Norris competes again it'll be 350+
oops i dun got memed
>why is it that the 93 squat wr is only 303.5kg?
yeah Gnuck talks about that.. basically when you hit a grind like that you need to shift your hips under the bar to improve your leverage. At the sticking point try to screw your feet out while getting hips under the bar. - this reduces the moment arm on your hips and allows you to make the lift.
I knew it, im coming from your lifts till end of this year
kek
Okay, I'll try taking less time between reps on my heavy sets. Any other form tips other than going lower and trying to keep my chest up more for my heavy set? Does my 240x10 form look okay?
also add some dedicated quad isolation if you haven't already.. looks like your shifting the load too far back because your quads could be weak, causing you to pitch forward
also FUCK THIS CAPTCHA makes me click like 10 rivers takes way too fucking long
pic related is gonna have to be my next meme
I don't know how to do this without shifting my hips forward via bending my spine
I invite you to user. I want to know somebody is making progress
Your form looks pretty good for your weight. Looks A LITTLE BIT like you're hyperextending in order to keep your knees back but your chest up. It's basically a knees back OR chest up kind of thing, if that makes sense
My quads are most definitely behind my hamstrings and glutes but are almost definitely lacking the strength to do that second rep or 500 for a single.
Also this whole training cycle has been dedicated to putting in quad work. I may need to do a few compounds to get them to the degree that I want to
I'll race you, bby.
Okay, thanks. So do you think that 295x3 was good enough to use it for my next C6W cycle? Should I try C6W again (I think I will get all 4 reps for my deadlift in a few days)?
He isn't competing in Worlds this June?
Gnuck has an article on it and a video sort of demonstrating how to do it. Basically you have to shift your body weight forward while attempting to maintain or straight your back angle. Think humping with your hips like you do when you lock out a deadlift and driving your shoulders back into the bar at the same time.
essentially that would change your torso angle, knees would drift forward slightly, but you wouldnt actually start climbing again until the hips got directly or close to under the bar again
why does he always look so stupid and dumb
>I may need to do a few compounds to get them to the degree that I want to
may I suggest tren?
nah
just a technicality tho
I'd run it again, yeah
so are you going for a real max next week?
k bby first one to get their pants off
>why does he always look so handsome and awesome
ftfy
I see. I'm wondering if I should try this on hard weights just to see if I can do it. Makes sense in text at least
obesity
>weakpoint training
0 upper back tightness
Nah, I think I'll just start a new cycle Monday. I would like to get my first 3 plate squat, but I think it's kind of a waste of a week since I'm still pretty weak. Thanks for all the advice!

Yo it's your birthday today too?
here you go senpai
...
after 8 months training i can dl 250kg bench 115kg but im stuck at 70 kg ohp. All other lifts are going up every 2-3 weeks by 5-10 kg but ohp is stalling.
What do, im 6ft and 84kg
...
lane norton does that with 300+ tbqh
start increasing with triples or do more back off sets
Triples?
im assuming your using a 5 rep structure based on your training age, either decrease the reps needed on your working sets and increase intensity, or add more volume. Maybe both
thank you for using metric master race and not that peasantry shit
It's just a stimulant, the IPF is crazy. Next they'll ban caffeine and natural testosterone, meaning athletes will need to be emasculated and on HRT to even pass. It's one thing to signal out tomatomen by putting up a color chart, but this kind of thing just reduces athleticism as a whole.
it was my birthday on the 13th, but since i had a meet 2 days later i decided to hold them off until post meet.
Next they'll try and like take out steroids or something.
Those are literally part of the sport and ipf is trying to be Muslim about it
Just got done with 100kgx5x5 incline. I wanna say @8, since this is my second time trying incline, I don't really know where to place the RPE.
what happened to binch(sheiko)
incline is fun but man it's hard to get used to the bar path. First few times I hopped on it I wasn't sure if I was the Pressing it or benching it
It got boring desu. And I don't think it got along with my insomnia that much. It might have worked with a different Sheiko, but meh.
I almost dropped the bar forward on every rep the first time I tried it. It was outright confusing.
