Oh I know I don't look too great now. I gained a lot of fat and lost a lot of strength when I stopped lifting for 4 months. Still feels good not to look like a skellington

Yes, it's an option. I've read it could take two years max to fully recover for some people... I just really don't want to wait that long to see how it ends up. But surgery is expensive, so I'm just hoping for the best.

Do lots of compound work and lift heavy. All I can say I guess. Eat as much protein as possible and use butter or coconut oil instead of vegetable oils

The risk is always there, but you can minimize it by dropping really slowly
