Are glute bridges (back on the ground) or hip thrusts (back against a bench) better for developing cake?

Constantly getting a pinching sensation in shoulder in overhead,press and curl movements. Almost like my collarbone is pinching something. No pain just discomfort

probably hip thrusts better rom and easier to add weight(mass building we want 8-15 reps), but do stiff leg deadlifts , and cable donkey kicks, both of those can easily add weight to hit our target (again 8-12 for dat mass for dat ass) I knew a girl who did them and I could see her booty even when she wore baggy sweatpants

I had to have my hips replaced last april. Finally am starting to ge to a point where my quads and hip flexors are capable of sustaining a bodyweight (read no bar) squat, and I could probably do a squat with some basic weight, but as soon as I introduce a bar of some sort my hip and knee stabilizers cant deal and I lose my balance.

Now that I look like a dyel instead of a cripple, is there a good way to train hip stabilization without looking like a faggot?
