Did SL5x5 for like a month, on 1500-1800 kcal. Kept stalling so I've started doing a 8-12 rep routine instead, with cardio to lose the last 10 lbs. Plan is to bulk after losing the remaining fat. Should I continue this?

If I go on a bulk as a beginner, how much muscle could I expect to gain compared to fat? I dont want to look like a fat blob during the summer
You should expect noob gains (the best gains), when you stalled on SL within a month you should have known something was fucked, had you just lifted heavy and ate maintenance from the start you could have been moving toward builtmode depending how good your genetics are, you will not look fat if your body builds muscle to adapt to a workout and if you don't eat too much over maintanance.
Do SS or SL (SS probably better, add some chinups since your upper body is lacking) and you will see results if you sleep and eat well.
Bro I don't know how much muscle you're gonna gain compared to fat everybody's body is different but what I can tell you is if you don't put on some muscle asap you are gonna look like shit anyway.
