>calves ache like hell after i stop running
>can barely move around
is this normal? happens literally every day? am i fucking up my legs?
my knees have been aching recently, just started cardio/jogging again, been lifting for ages, time for rest week?
are you stretching pre/post run? sounds like you really need to work on stretching your hamstrings
I had a soccer game today and ran so much and so hard that now I have this weird buzzing slight headache at the back of my skull
anyone else get this?
What's a good frequency to go running per week? Before I used go 4-5 days back to back and then rest. But after my foot started hurting mid-run one day, I'm thinking of toning it down to every other day.
>teeth hurt when I run
Feels bad bros. I brush twice a day and floss 1x a week. Dentist says my teeth are great, no cavities or damage.
I have to swim instead but I get nauseous if water goes in my ears (have to wear a cap / earplugs)
Cardio just isn't for me.
Also voted mizunos for best shoes
Forgot to add that I have an ingrown toenail that bleeds when I run (pain is only low-moderate) but it's still off-putting af
I started out doing c25k but threw out the program, now I just run/walk split 5k 5 days a week and listen to my body. I seem to be having a lot better time of it, less pain and still progressing well
Two question for you runners
1. How often should I be running a week when I start off.
2. Did running increase your stamina in the bedroom. Both cardio wise and not busting right away

>no "Other" option
Fuck you.
Vivobarefoot.
1. Probably varies a lot by body type, running technique, and previous activity levels. Personally I can run 5km-10km no issues but I can only run once every 3days or I develop injuries.
2. Cardio only.
Try a shoe with more support, rolling, and running on trails or grass instead of pavement.
Apologies, but don't want to bloat the board with question threads, does anyone have that chart that details how much to run per day, ending after a couple months with running for 90 minutes straight?
Also took a walk for the first time in a long time, lap around the block and take a break, did this four times and my favorite part was when I started running, not for an extended period of time, but for those brief moments I felt like I could do it all, like I wasn't limited by my weight.
Again, I rarely browse Veeky Forums and never post, sorry if this thread isn't the right place to ask this, it seemed fitting.
And lastly, how long should I wait after meals before running? What's a good drink to sip on on breaks between walks, something sugary or just water?
Try it, see how it works out. Due to rain I have only been out three times this week. Not great, but usually I run 5 out of 7. Thursdays and Mondays off. Monday off if long run is on a Saturday or Sunday, or Sunday off if I long run Friday. Go by how you feel. Rest if you can't handle it.

>How far have you run this week?
31.7 miles
>What are you working on?
nutrition, or lack of.
>How was your last run?
A beauty. 14.5 miles. Half way in and it started raining. Got fucking soaked. Loved every minute of it.
>Any new gear that you've been enjoying?
Nope
>What injuries are you nursing?
At this rate tomorrow morning it will be tight glutes, back ache and tight calves. Time to stretch.
Thanks, my dude.
Info
Do the C25k.
>Apologies, but don't want to bloat the board with question threads, does anyone have that chart that details how much to run per day, ending after a couple months with running for 90 minutes straight?
Do the c25k and then work up form there.

Good! Keep going!

Better to ask than be a spastic and end up hurting yourself.
>And lastly, how long should I wait after meals before running? What's a good drink to sip on on breaks between walks, something sugary or just water?
Don't drink calories!
Maybe wait 30 minutes? An hour if a large meal. Depends on how you feel. Tonight I boshed a pancake thing and went out 5 minutes after. But I know I can do stuff like that.
C25k links to hostmonster, I think it expired.
How should I control my breathing as well? I was taking deep breaths the whole time, is there some better way?
With all that we know about modern exercise why would anyone run? It's actually detrimental to the heart and joints
Here we go....
I try to not focus too much on breathing as it's easier to adjust pace directly.
Whatever you say Mr Shitposter.
Again, I appreciate it. Have a lovely day, user!
>knee hurts if I walk fast
>knee is fine when I run (up to 20k or so)

What are good lightweight shoes with 0 support or whatever?
I'm mostly barefoot or in flip flops but want to start running, don't need raised heel or any of that shit.
