Can we talk about Naturally Enhanced without the discussion devolving to a troll shitfest? I don't care what you think about Alex, I'm interested in the PROGRAM.

Anyways, anyone here actaully doing NE? How do you like it? How are the results?

And what I'm most interested in is how long do your workouts take, I did volume day yesterday and it took me nearly 2.5h...don't know if its my shit work capacity or they're supposed to be this long.

Naturally Enhanced is my favorite program that I have discovered, the results have skyrocketed in the time I have been on it!

I usually complete my workout at the end of the 2hr mark, though if it takes you a bit longer, that is completely fine; do it at your own pace, it's all good. Don't needlessly wear yourself out, take a breather, take a 10 minute break to drink a coffee and recuperate.

there's nothing typical about it. very few programs utilize concurrent periodization with high exercise selection or low relative training frequency.

AlphaDestiny made a niche of himself by peddling unconventional lifts (rack pulls are unconventional now? lmao ok) and concurrent training so that he'd make a place for himself in the world of youtube fitness, but his information is your typical broscience that anyone with common sense could understand.

That's a stupid fuckton of volume to the point of being impractical. I train full body every day, but I do two strength movements (usually two upper body or two lower body) and three volume movements, all compounds (if I did upper body strength I'll do three lower body exercises and viceversa). It's as close as you can get to "concurrent training" without being retarded.

The fact that few programs use concurrent training is not a testament to its effectiveness, but rather quite the opposite.

Also, high exercise selection and low frequency is impractical as fuck. Two hours into your workout, your energy systems are already changing, you're getting tired and just so you can do some arbitrary exercises for the sake of nonspecificity. The only thing you should care about in terms of specificity is hitting all planes of movement across all major joins. Just doing a lot of exercises to make sure you don't miss anything is stupid.

Get you work capacity up brah. Mine take about 2h max. I got only positive results through NE so far. Got my OHP, Bench and Deadlift way up while I was stalling hard before. Concurrent is the way to go and keeps shit fresh my man.

i want to try it out but im worried i dont have sufficient equipment...i train at home, all i have is free weights and pullup bar. can you run it without machines and bands?

You only need band(s) for the two mini workouts you'll be doing. Machines are not needed. There are more than enough free weight exercises you can choose from.

NE is actually very much your typical bodybuilding program. nothing new or different about it, just switches priority from lats to traps, arms to forearms, pecs to delts and quads to glutes. that's all that is about.

waste of money if you ask me, because all the info you get from his videos is enough to reconstruct the program itself.

with that said, i think "typical bodybuilding program"s are very suboptimal for natural lifters.

am i taking crazy pills or are you people mentally challenged? a typical bodybuilding program is a bodypart split with several exercises per muscle groups that are rarelly rotated, with mostly 8-12 rep ranges per set and 3-5 sets per exercise. NE is FBW, only 2 lifting days, volume/intensity split, 1-2 exercise per muscle group, constant exercise rotation, rep ranges as low as 1-3 on inensity day and as high as 30 on volume day. its probably as far from a typucal bodubyilding program as possible.

routine isn't what makes the program. it is based on what are the principles of a typical bodybuilding program, hence it is one.

So you have 2 presses and a shoulder isolation, then only 1 back movement? Lots of trap work and I get that, but I would imagine you would struggle to have max gains in the lower traps and lats department, which imo is far more important to your physique than retarded big upper traps.
