I see a lot of Keto related success stories on Plebbit. What do you guys think?

Fixes weight, but not for long term.

Aside from the strange restriction on beans, this just looks like "eating healthy". No meme necessary.

Lost 18 pounds in 34 days only dropped about 5% in my lifts. It's not really a long term thing with the large increase in saturated fat but about half your fats should really come from healthy oils and avocados anyway. Works like a charm.

Also, why not milk if cheese etc is allowed?

egg whites are a good back up but make me gassy as all hell holy shit

his theory is probably that keto induces rapid weight loss, but as soon as you start eating carbs again, you overeat and put all the weight back on

simple solution is dont overeat calorie dense carbs

lactose breaks down into glucose

carbs in milk are also right there on the nutrition label lol

Isn't it possible to go keto forever?

im not saying to never eat a single carb in your life again but still, you can go 95% keto and just eat carbs on rare occasions right

sure it is, absolutely, and if you control your diet to avoid specific bad keto symptoms, it is a pretty damn good diet

I still eat lettuce and asparagus while keto. I drink lemon water to maintain blood pH, otherwise kidney stones.

I love keto and don't eat much animal fat or cholesterol

Is what I said, but I make up for it with plant fats. Oils, nuts, avocados.

And when I'm eating meat, I'm eating 93% lean not 80%.

And I am running a massive calorie deficit.

So no, I am not being kicked out of keto in the way you suggest :)

Do I need to hit my macros to a tee? I've noticed my total carbs comes in way under 25 g and my protein is maybe 20g over
