I have a tear or something in my scapula that I've reinjured a few times since the first time a couple years ago. I have no idea what happened but last week I did something really fucked up to it and the pain has been enough that I'm considering just going to the hospital (free healthcare Ty Canada). I have a physio apt on Saturday that I'm paying out of pocket for so hopefully that will help, but I don't think I can go to work tomorrow because of the pain. I puked at work today because of it and painkillers are doing nothing.
Bump
recovering from a bicep tendinitis after falling from climbing. Slowly getting back to isolation work.
Wrecked my shoulder skateboarding 4 years ago and to this day my shoulder is bitch made desu.
Do you have to work around it during lifting?
Idk if I will ever be able to rock climb again because of my scapula injury. I can't pull more than 60 lbs without it hurting. I love lifting so much but am considering a new hobby desu. What about you?
Medial tibial stress syndrome. I've been training like an idiot so it hasn't healed yet going on 6 months now
Yeah any work out that requires direct shoulder is reduced weight.
Doing walking lunges with the stretch. Over extended my big toe. Been sore for a month. Can move it and use normally but it still gets sore now
If you don't rest and do proper rehab and the prehab after recovery you deserve to be forever injured. And as you get older your injuries will stack and you will complain about "getting old" and accept it. Then you will accept being a little chubby and then you will accept being out of breath, and joints hurting, and being stiff etc. etc.
Not properly treating yourself is the road to degeneration. FUCKING TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY!!!
Nah dawg.
Im all fucked up. Knees, shoulder, hand. I wont ever get to 2.5/3 plate but ill be happy to get 2 pl8 squats
I got a mate whos 55 and his knee is more fucked then mine and his finger is a 90 degree angle and yet the dudes nothing but muscle. But he has been training a long time. Just gotta work around injuries and stretch before and after.
You litterally describe what he is talking about.
I went full retard and didnt read the end.
Recently I've been having pain in this area.
It seem to be worse on my pulling day.
I feel it the most during barbell row.
Anyone got any idea what it could be?
Also my trap is more swollen and more tight on the side where it hurts.
My hip flexor is fucking tight and sore
sore? Can you say a bit more about it?
Anyone had hernia surgery? I had one 3 years ago and the muscles in that side of my core have always been weaker then my other side ever since. Don’t know what to do or if it’s even fixable. It sucks because I’ve never been able to get tight like I used to.
Been back training for a few weeks now after a bulging disk kept me out for ages. All good so far, feels great to be back
Think I pulled my left trap last night. Stopped the workout early, so that felt like shit. Iced it a bit and slept on it but now I can’t move my neck. What do I do?
It's from squatting. It is a pinch feeling in the front of my hips. Makes bending over forward difficult.
SI joint
Dealing with it pretty good, unfucked my deadlift and squat form and I haven't felt anything since.
Get qt to massage you

good job to my genes
pls respond I'm so fucking depressed since I cant hit the gym
good job to my genes
t. Guaranteed warmup/prehab/rehablet.
Im a skelly who went to the gym for the first time at 116 lbs. I took 10 minutes slowly pulling up on the bar trying to get my deadlift form right. I think I got close but I didn't realize my plan called for 1x5 deadlifts instead of 5x5. I ended up doing 5x5 of 135 lbs deadlifts and I'm pretty sure I rounded my back when setting them all down.
Bad lower back pain for two days now.
My legs hurt
3 years ago I hurt my knee kicking a football that had sand in it. My knee just snapped.
Been trying to rehab train on and off with various different PTs but none have helped. The pain in general has sorta subsided but I'm still stuck with my knee needing to rehab proper, get the weights going up up up. I feel so worthless after continuously failing this for about two years of trying. The emotional pain is worse than the physical.
I'm just starting out and got fucken heavy lumbar pain from squatting
Fuck me it hurts bros
Tore my rotisserie cuff. Recovering finally. Back on 2 plate after 1.5 months of rest. Also got fat so I’m cutting. As painful as it is to see your gains fade, and as angry as you get when you start lifting again to realize you’re weaker, it’s all going to be okay.
See a fucking doctor idiot. Don’t rely on Veeky Forums of all places for advice. I’m and I hated myself for not going to the Dr. sooner.
Tennis elbow.. It sucks major ass. No idea when I can get back to lifting again. Everytime, I won't feel it for a few days, so I'll go lifting. And everytime it comes back after a lifting session...
had back surgery this past summer
my back is now just permanently fucked up and hurts all the time. it is awful
Tried but he just laughed
I seem to have strained my left adductor a couple weeks back and it is still giving minor flares of pain squatting even 1plate. I've squatted all of like 5 squats since then. This sucks, I had just gotten to 2plate as well and there was no pain at all until I squatted again 3 days later.
