No, noit really. People still turn down a lot of great ideas because they aren't "logical" but when you ask them why something illogical is wrong they say something like, "I'll feel bad if it's not logical."

Anyone who is a valid scientist understands that theories can't be assumed to be logically sound before they are tested. Therefore, sound scientists do not get rabid about being surrounded by pure logic, everywhere in the universe.
