Veganism Is An Eating Disorder

Isn't that "Mark Rippletoe" or whatever? He's a strength, fitness and nutrition guru with a large following.

No, I don't know why.

Vegans never do anything wrong other than express opinions you disagree with, ive never heard of a vegan getting someone unjustifiably fired or anything extreme like that

Maybe this has to do with my character, but I really cannot stand how obnoxious the sanctimonious grandstanding of either of these groups is. This bothers me more than anything. The same goes for militant atheists or religious fundamentalists. Using one's diet to feel superior to others is as base as one can get.

What if they're not doing it to feel superior but because of genuine moral conviction? There obviously are some vapid women who do it because they think it's healthy or makes you look good, but surely that isn't all vegans?

Yeah dude, the vegan pieces of shit that feed their children and pets a vegan diet and make them sick because of their backwards beliefs that are literally based on a fad and affirmation by other mentally-ill snowflakes are harmless.

Get a clue.

I'm not only referring to vapid women who are into yoga and juice 'detox', I'm more than anything pointing at the near religious zeal of many vegans. I don't appreciate the proselytism of the vegan community. While I'm sure there are some vegans who are pleasant to be around, most I've met are simply bad mannered, forcefully engaging people into discussions where the absolute triviality of their diet is treated like a subject of great importance. What's worse is that all this is more often than not done in the hopes of evangelizing more people into their sect. People can put whatever they like in their body, it makes no difference to me, but don't come bothering me with it.

any asserted opinion. ANY. it's not the opinion part, it's the asserting part. People who think their opinion is so fucking enlightening that they have to tell you about it come every chance.

Fucking this.
Vegans need to off themselves.
And I can accept I'm a horrible person.

> genuine moral conviction
how dare you try and tell me how to live my life, under the guise of knowing better what has better moral implications. That's probably how i would react. it's extremely insulting and disrespectful to assert yourself like that when uninvited. ANY opinion

I would agree with that.
