I have zero respect for "people" that don't know spanish
I thought the T was like in how you would correctly pronounce Goethe (i.e. Gurr-tah), and the E like the final E of Nietzsche

does polish have a symbol for the "h" sound?
the lack of it might explain the "sh"
I know Russian lacks the "h", but their "xh" is closer than "sh"
A guy on my course would repeatedly pronounce Descartes as "Des-cart-ess", even after I picked him up on it.
Fucking ingrate, hope a lorry hits him.
I like how the English pronounce his name "Don Quicks-ott.
>Descartes
Who? Oh, you mean Renatus Cartesius?
pleb
I pronounce it as Desa-cahr-teh
How is it supposed to be pronounced?
Dey-cart.
Russian X denotes the exact same phoneme as the spanish J/X.
>not "deh-cah" for maximum patrician points
There are actually two symbols for "h" sound: h and ch. They both signifies same sound and how "h" sound is spelled is purely conventional.
Maybe we picked up this pronunciation from the Russians? Idk
Take a day off.
That's one fat fucking orangutan
>tfw always thought it was Don Quicks-oat
That's the way it is spelled.
why do poles use "sh" when they have "x" available to them?
How should I know?
Don Key Ho'tay

Also, I hope you guys appreciate the irony of a Spanish dub of an English movie of a Spanish novel movie adaptation.
>a Spanish dub of an English movie of a Spanish novel movie adaptation.
Wait. I could have phrased that better.
>a Spanish dub of an English movie adaptation of a Spanish novel.
Now I can go to sleep soundly.
You all wrong
Is Don QuickShot because he was the fastest cowboy in all Mexico
George Lewis Borgs
We can tell you fucking suck, even through the board's anonymity
