Dune Thread
I wouldn't remove my hand no problem. Got my hand stuck in a sander once and it sanded down to the bone but I didn't cry because I'm a big guy.

Actually the first edition of "Dune" came 12 years before "Star Wars".
How big was Leo's worm dick
It was an action packed page turner. The world building was spectacular in the sense that every word or object blended into his writing. He was good at describing geography, but that's basically the only thing he described in detail. I enjoyed how much a seamless blend of fantasy and sci-fi it was. I had problems with it though. Every character was one dimensional. Every chapter was either set up or execution of the plot. His writing left most things to the imagination. Instead of a few paragraphs describing a worms look and action in the vast desert, he would just write "lol there was a big worm over yonder". I really enjoyed it and can't wait to watch the movie with a fresh eye, but would I spend time reading the sequels? Probably not for a long time, there's far more important things I have in my backlog.
Didn't like it. His characters were boring, his prose was flat, and his plot was shit.
